• research的基本意思是“研究,探讨”,尤指对知识方面的新事物进行彻底调查、研究。research泛指“研究”时是不可数名词,不与不定冠词a连用,也不用于复数形式。
• research的复数形式可用于特指对某个具体问题的研究,但其前不能加数词或者many, several等词。
• research后可接介词in、on或into,表示研究或调查的对象或范围。
